Strasbourg (part 1)

It is in many ways just another big city. A grand cathedral, numerous old buildings, some authentic, some refurbished after the bombing in 1943. A nice enough place to walk around, and see. It almost seems as though they are catering to tourists because the have to though, rather than because they love their city. They charge €1 for a map!!
I chose between going up the tower and going on the minitram tour. I went on the tour because as lovely as a city is from above they are not all that different, and I have seen Andrew’s picture anyway.
It has been great to spend the day here between showers. Although the many over hanging buildings are good for that as well as looking good. And then there is Petite France…
